Outcomes assessment is a collaborative process of defining how organisations measure performance and improve quality. The goal of outcomes assessment is to improve delivery programmes and ensure the most positive learning experience. As well as measuring performance against learning outcomes and apprenticeship standards, the module can also be used for strategic and organisational planning and compliance.
Assessment objectives are set by OfQUAL and provide the regulatory framework for qualifications. Using Stedfast, organisations are able to plan and measure their delivery against AOs.
Apprenticeship standards set out the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of apprentices. Using Stedfast, organisations can plan and measure their performance against the KSBs
Create programme learning outcomes which set out what the learners can do and should know by the end of the course and using Stedfast measure performance against them.
Creating an assessment plan is a simple process. Providers can import outcomes sets from a central library, previous reviews or can create a new outcome set.
Providers can add the performance measures that they are going to set to benchmark the success of a programme. Staff then work collaboratively to add findings and actions to ensure programmes are continuously improved.
Assessment plans can be reviewed on a review cycle set by the plan owner. This helps demonstrate continual improvement over a period of time
Each assessment plan is made up of a team of staff. The plan owner adds outcomes and measures and the team colloaboratively add their findings
Staff are able to download various PDF reports of the assessment plan cycle that they are working on.
